Job Description:

The Informatica ETL architect should be familiar with multiple tools within the Informatica Tools suite, including Power Center, Power Exchange, Informatica Data Quality, Metadata Exchange, and more recently the Informatica MDM solution (formally Siperian).  The Informatica ETL architect should have knowledge and experience with multiple combinations of these tools within various project opportunities.  There is a particular need for Informatica MDM experience.  Potential resources should be comfortable making recommendations regarding strategies associated with creating Data Workfolows, use of the repository, and Best Practices regarding ETL coding strategies.  This is a leadership role and candidates will be expected to provide leadership to a team of resources with significant experience with the Informatica toolsuite.  This position is a very “hands on” position, so candidates will be expected to both lead and as well as participate in project delivery. 

Position Responsibilities
·         Familiarity with multiple tools within the Informatica Tool Suite
·         Ability to provide infrastructure leadership regarding an Informatica platform
·         Ability to install and configure Informatica Toolsuite
·         Best Practices regarding data staging, data cleansing, and data transformation routines within the Informatica MDM solution
·         Best Practices regarding creating business rules within the Informatica MDM solution.
·         Informatica expertise regarding how Informatica MDM integrates with other Informatica products
·         Ability to escalate and manage tool related bugs with Informatica (the company).

·         Broader knowledge of Informatica tools and strategies.
